13th June 2019. This was the day when the first 5-ball dodgeball national match was played in Hungary.
One could not even choose a more honored opponent, the Budapest Pirates hosted the World and European Champion England’s best university team, the Sheffield Arrows.
29 British university students travelled to us, who were not only curious about Budapest’s attractions, but they also wanted to play some good games.

At the first halves of the opening male and the following mixed matches we were still trying to find the balls and our place, but we managed to equalize at the second half of both games, thanks to the large and rather loud support of the spectators.
At the third match then, something happened that we were only secretly hoping for. The male Pirates team beat their renowned British opponent.
