A rapidly evolving sport was born from the international version of one the utmost favourite PE class games. Simple, with easily understandable rules, with World and European Championships.
Our team is working hard to spread this new ball game, so more and more people will know, try and regularly play it here in Hungary too.
The Hungarian Dodgeball Team has been playing at international matches and participating at the European Dodgeball Association’s tournaments since 2018.
Legend has it that in the year Anno Domini 2017, a pirate frigate had dropped anchor in the Újpest bay. It had brought not gold or arms from the Land of the Rose, but special Dodgeballs. The aim of the Pirates is to introduce and popularise the sport known as Dodgeball in most parts of the world - or kidobós, as it is known in Hungary.
